Ramadan Kareem 

Purpose:

This session is designed to guide participants through the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the holy month of Ramadan. It aims to provide practical advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle while observing the fasts and altered daily routines. The session will cover nutritional wellness, physical activity, mental and emotional well-being, and sleep management, offering a holistic approach to health during this sacred time.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Nutritional Wellness: Strategies for balanced and nutritious Suhoor and Iftar meals. Importance of hydration and moderation in food intake. Healthy alternatives to traditional high-calorie foods and sweets.
  2. Physical Activity and Exercise: Recommendations for the best times and types of exercise during Ramadan. Tips for staying active and fit while fasting.
  3. Mental and Emotional Well-being:Managing stress, particularly for individuals who smoke. Incorporating mindfulness and spiritual reflection into daily routines.
  4. Sleep Patterns and Energy Management:Adjusting and optimizing sleep schedules. Techniques for managing energy levels and avoiding fatigue.

Session Format:

  • Interactive and engaging, combining expert talks, Q&A sessions, and participant discussions.
